Theresians showcase their skills in the Founding Anniversary’s Academic Contest

The 17th anniversary of the Saint Therese Catholic School's founding was commemorated from February 19–23, 2024. Preliminary activities focused on the academic contest were arranged for the students as part of the celebration. These included the Eco-Cosplay, Oratorical Contest, Essay Writing Contest, Slogan Making Contest, Poster Making Contest, Declamation, and Extemporaneous Speech. The aforementioned events are scheduled on several days to allow students enough time to gather the resources they will require and to participate fully in each competition. 

In the primary department, Danielle Olivia Isla M. Ratnam bags Gold for the Eco-Cosplay. Meanwhile, Sean Aiden R. Agudelo triumphs in gaining the Gold Award in Oratorical Contest, followed by Khaliyah Astrid S. Pegos who won the Silver Award, and Gerin Rom C. Cordero & Junise L. Badidles who won the Bronze Award.

In the intermediate department, JV Leanz Ahmed R. Sacriban bags Silver Award for the Eco-Cosplay. Meanwhile, Sheander Alexis Magsino won the Gold Award for the Essay Contest, while Gino Albert G. Mesina triumphed in gaining the Gold Award in the Oratorical Contest. Further, Rina Sofia B. Faustino bags Gold Award for the Poster Making Contest, followed by Lance Isaac Venner P. Pobre who won the Silver Award, and Llord Cedrick S. Dumo who won the Bronze Award. 

In the junior high school department, Sharmaine Rose S. Dumo bags Gold Award for the Eco-Cosplay, followed by Mint Klein M. Cantila who won the Silver Award, and Cyan Nevaeh E. Manguling who won the Bronze Award. Meanwhile, Brent Austin H. Bernal won Gold Award for the Essay Contest, followed by Kirk Hailey M. Laraño who won Silver Award, and Romainne Yanna Dumlao who won Bronze Award. Lastly, Brent Austin H. Bernal once again bagged a Gold Award for the Extemporaneous Speech followed by Haero Taynell Z. Abarro for the Silver Award.

In the senior high school department, Nicole E. Bermoy bags Gold Award for the Eco-Cosplay, followed by Merry Jane A. Rodriguez who won the Silver Award, and Urrynel G. Morines who won the Bronze Award. Meanwhile, Xyron Ezekiel A. Prim won the Gold Award for the Essay Contest, followed by Christian Lagarto who won Silver Award, and Rdriannson E. Wenceslao who won the Bronze Award. Further, Jeromuel Delgado bags the Gold Award for the Poster Making Contest, followed by Kenisha Viel S. Olaso who won the Silver Award, and Neo Genesis R. Samartino who won the Bronze Award. Then, Myla C. Buhi earned the Gold Award in the Slogan Making Contest, followed by Merry Jane A, Rodriguez who earned the Silver Award, and Rana Jael P. Rico who earned the Bronze Award. Lastly, Cristine V. Casipit bags the Gold Award for the Declamation Contest, and Rdriannson E. Wenceslao bags a Gold Award for the Extemporaneous Speech. 

As part of the celebration of the foundation anniversary, Theresians have demonstrated their skills and abilities throughout the academic competition. This genuinely demonstrates the results of their hard work and perseverance, which they have learned in school.
