Theresian's Sports for Peace Unleashed Talents on Foundation Day

Celebrating the spirit of unity and prosperity, Theresian's Sports for Peace illuminated the campus grounds from February 21 to 22, during the school's Foundation Day. With the theme "Everlasting Flames of Loyalty and Gratitude: Nurturing Minds, Igniting Futures," students showcased not only their sporting skills but also their dedication to teamwork and passion.

In the realm of badminton, the Theresian players exhibited exceptional skill and determination. In the Elementary Department, Felicia Alexis F. Lumunsad clinched the gold, while Chandi Beatrice L. Ricafrente secured silver, and Stephen Andrei R. Agudelo claimed bronze. In the high school department, Jaypee O. Olaes soared to gold, followed by Ankaa C. Lurion with silver and Jade Merielle A. Domingo with bronze. Meanwhile, in the senior high school department, Justine O. Olaes triumphed with gold, with Roxanne B. Abdon taking silver and Renz S. Quiambao earning bronze.

Table tennis saw intense competition as Renz Kenji De Leon emerged victorious with gold in the high school division, accompanied by outstanding players Connie Shei C. Castillo with silver and Junel Rodaine L. Badidles with bronze. In the senior high school department, one-of-a-kind and remarkable player Gium Shei C. Castillo seized gold, followed by Rdriannson E. Wenceslao with silver and Nickzen Anthony Vanderputt with bronze.

Chess enthusiasts displayed strategic brilliance, with Ysteve Marcky Saria claiming Gold in the High School Department followed by Eunize P. Viason with Silver, and Avram Lucas Torres claiming Bronze. On the other side, Gerbie Casor reigning supreme in the Senior High School Department for securing Gold award, followed by Jan Lawrence Asuncion as Silver and Eunicia Ray Baniqued with Bronze. 

In the thrilling realm of Scrabble doubles, teamwork and strategic wordplay were on full display. Remarkable pairs from each department showcased their linguistic potential. For the Elementary Department, Rina Sofia B. Faustino and Lance Isaac Venner P. Pobre together claimed gold. For the high school department, Charles Nielsen B. Guyamin and Czarina Gabrielle S. Gaanan both claimed gold, followed by Romainne Yanna Dumlao and Ma. Frinzelle Azalea B. Bernal with silver, and Brianne Rose M. Baat and Kirk Hailey M. Laraño with bronze. The Senior High School Department's talented players Aldrin Florenze G. Reyel and Zycka S. Rivera won gold.

The basketball court witnessed the dominance of the senior high school department, with Rae John A. Banaban, John Lordemar S. Bobis, Johnny Fritz Ornales, Jcril Tamaño, and Cris Edward De Leon earning recognition as the Mythical Five. Team Apple Green emerged triumphant, securing gold in the team event, followed by Team White with silver, Team Red with bronze, and Team Yellow with a certificate of participation.

Volleyball athletes showcased their skills with flair, led by the Mytical Six players from each department. Among the Boys Mytical Six players from the High School Department are Haero Taynell Z. Abarro and Yuri L. Trazona; the rest come from the Senior High School Department, who are Ronel P. Mataganas, Keith Howard Episioco, Lorenzo M. Santos, and Louie Jay B. Tampos. 

For Girls Mytical Six Players, we have Alyssa M. Santos from the high school department, and for the senior high school department, Maria Teresita C. Salmo, Andriene Faith G. Reyel, Iliana May G. De Leon, Myla C. Buhi, and Gium Shei C. Castillo. Team Apple Green emerged victorious in both the boys' and girls' divisions with gold, followed by Team Yellow securing silver, Team Red clinching bronze, and Team White earning a certificate of participation.

Theresian's Sports for Peace not only celebrated athletic achievement but also fostered bravery and sportsmanship among students. As the flames of loyalty and gratitude continue to burn brightly, the future looks promising for these young athletes, as they were ignited by their passion for sports and unity.
