STCS celebrated “Blessings and Dreams”

Saint Therese Catholic School, Inc. conducted a year-end celebration for the faculty and staff called “Blessing and Dreams” at STCS grounds on June 21, 2021. The event was organized by the school’s administrative council in order to recognize all the sacrifices and hard work of the employees.

The event kick started with the opening remarks from the school principal, Mr. Romar B. Reyes and an inspirational message from school director Rev. Fr. Alain P. Manalo. Both commended the school’s faculty and staff for their dedication and efforts that led tona successful school year amidst the trials of the current pandemic.

“It is important to do year-end celebrations because it recognizes the success of the institution and the team work of the people behind it. It also boosts the self-confidence of each employee for they can see the product of their hard work during the whole year,” Ms. Laidel R. Rosete, school’s guidance advocate, stated.

After the speeches, groups were formed so that each employee could share about the different STCS ‘FLEXperience’ from the previous year and for the expectations and challenges for the next school year. The sharing was filled with gratitude among the faculty; it also emphasized unity and the spirit of Malasakitan. Afterwards, certificates of appreciation were awarded to each employee to serve as tokens of gratitude.

“It was happy and fulfilling. It felt like we were winners who won the grand prize at the end of the game brought by this very challenging school year. I'm so blessed to witness this little celebration of our huge success. This only signifies the thought that we all did our best and we are more than ready to face another challenging year,” Ms. Raina May M. Agellon, faculty member, expressed.
