Theresian competes at Inter-Private Schools Municipal Meet, Table Tennis Team bags medals

The students of Saint Therese Catholic School participated in the recently concluded Inter-Private Schools Municipal Meet on November 6-7, 2023, and demonstrated their abilities and sportsmanship at the various tournaments during the event.

Atheneum Amcan School, Gospel Light Christian Academy, Holy Cross Catholic School of Noveleta, Mother Theresa Colegio De Noveleta, Saint Therese Catholic School Inc., and Unida Nehemiah Christian Academy are the participants in the Inter-Private Schools Municipal Meet. Every sport was played at several schools and locations.

Students from different grade levels made up the table tennis team, and they demonstrated their skill set, which helped them win. In the category of singles A table tennis, Gium Shei Castillo hails as the champion, followed by Connie Shei Castillo in the singles B category, and Lakisha Angela Bobis and Junel Rodaine Badidles in the doubles girls category. Additionally, Kristian Gabriel Rodriguez earned silver in the singles B boys category, and Renz Kenji De Leon won silver in the singles A boys category.

In a similar vein, UNCA defeated the basketball team following the second five-versus-five round. In game three, the chess team was defeated by UNCA and GLCA for both categories. Although the badminton team gave it their all and attempted to win the cup, they still learned a lot and gained new experiences.
 Today, November 10, 2023, the Castillo sisters and the duo of Bobis and Badidles are set to compete against Noveleta National High School in the Municipal Meet.
